Sport Corner Ylläs rental shop is conveniently located in the village centre of Äkäslompolo, Ylläs.
When snow covers the fells and forests, we are ready to rent for example fatbikes and E-fatbikes, ski sets for cross-country skiing, lightweight ski touring equipment, snowshoes, kick sleds, pulks and tour skates.
In Summer we add mountainbikes and E-mountainbikes with plus-sized tyres to our selection, as well as regular citybikes. For another angle to the beautiful scenery we suggest you try out renting a rowing boat, canoe, kayak or a SUP board!
The easiest way to rent is through our recently opened online-rental, which can be accessed from the link below. Alternatively you can call or email us, either way you like.
Especially during high season (Jul, Sep, Dec–Apr) we highly recommend booking in advance so that we can guarantee the equipment you want in the right size. Book without hesitation as you can always change or cancel your booking, no later than 24h before the intended start time, though. To make changes, please phone or email us.

Rental XC Skis
330 km of skiing track are waiting! The skis in our rental selection are picked from the manufacturers with the idea that they'd suit a wide variety of skiers and skill levels. We always wax the skis before every rental and take all the effort to find the perfect set for you. Despite all this, if you feel the set is not working for you, you can obviously change it for a more suitable one during the rental period. Our goal is to make your day on the tracks a day to remember.

Please note that the availability of the equipment always matches the seasonal requirements: in summer, all of the winter equipment will be stored away and vice versa in winter.
Rental terms and conditions
To rent equipment from us, you need to present an ID.
Payments are made upfront. The customer agrees to return the rented equipment at the end of the rental period. Any delays are charged extra according to the list price.
You will be responsible for the equipment until you return them to us. We always check the equipment during each handover. Should you find some faults in the rental product, let us know immediately.
You will agree to return the equipment in the same condition as they were at the start of the rental and, where applicable, to pay for any damages. You will also be liable for any repair costs or lost equipment. Driving in Bike Park is not allowed with our rental bikes.

You can purchase an insurance that covers the rental period (€10). The insurance covers all parts that you are liable for.
Using the bike according to the instructions is the best way to avoid damages. We will give you the instructions needed before the start of your rental. Remember, you can always ask if something is unclear!
